Torre Costanera Center - under construction. Chile

Eding APS, is actively involved in the construction of the Torre Costanera Center in Santiago de Chile (Chile) expediting construction work using splice bar sleeves model coupler BPI GRIP TWIST instead of overlaps. The construction system being used is similar to that of numerous skyscrapers, creating a central concrete slab core and placing the slabs that make up the floors of the building around this central, resistant core. For this purpose, a male/female sleeve is required, like BPI GRIP TWIST, with the female section awaiting coupling. The construction process consists in setting female sleeves within the formwork of the central core via the front insert containing the sleeve and concreting this element as construction work. The sleeve has a plastic cap that prevents entry of concrete and impurities. Subsequently, some of the male core pieces BPI GRIP TWIST are screwed, thus avoiding overlaps.

Torre Costanera Center will be the sixth highest building in the world after completion.
